The agreement between you and House of Kanha when you browse or buy from us — written plainly, and always subject to your rights under Australian law.

Small variations are part of the craft, not a defect.
Consumer guarantees can never be excluded.
All prices include GST unless stated otherwise.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the House of Kanha website and every order you place with us. By browsing the site, creating an account or buying a poshak, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
Everything we sell is stitched, embroidered or finished by hand, so no two pieces are identical. The following are normal characteristics, not defects:
Pricing errors. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price.
Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email is an acknowledgement, not acceptance — a contract forms only when we dispatch your item.
We may decline or cancel an order if:
Custom orders — bespoke poshak and personalised pieces are made to your specification, cannot be cancelled once cutting begins, and add 5–7 business days.
These are covered in detail in their own policies, which form part of these terms:
Delivery estimates are indicative only. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes once we receive full payment.
All content on this site — photographs, designs, embroidery patterns, text, logos and the House of Kanha name — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by Australian and international copyright law.
When you post a review, photo or comment, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in our marketing, with credit where practical. You confirm the content is yours and doesn't infringe anyone's rights.
We may remove content that is offensive, misleading, off-topic or disrespectful of any faith or community.
Our products are made for seva and worship, and we ask that they be treated with the respect the tradition deserves.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you're entitled to a replacement or refund, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. For a failure that isn't major, you're entitled to have it repaired or replaced within a reasonable time.
To the extent permitted by law, and apart from those guarantees, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delays outside our control.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We link to other sites for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or policies.
We aren't liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — natural disasters, strikes, carrier failures, power or internet outages, or government action.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues to apply.
We may update these terms at any time by publishing a new version here, with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will be notified on the site.
If any clause is unclear, just ask — we'd rather explain it now than have you guess. We reply within two business days.
