    Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the House of Kanha website and every order you place with us. By browsing the site, creating an account or buying a poshak, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

    Products, sizing & handwork

Everything we sell is stitched, embroidered or finished by hand, so no two pieces are identical. The following are normal characteristics, not defects:

    • Slight zari placement shift
    • Colour differing from your screen
    • Moti and bead spacing variation
    • Hand-block print irregularity
    • Small measurement tolerance
    • Sizes are given as Laddu Gopal size numbers (No. 0–10) with an idol height range. Measure your idol before ordering — see our size guide.
    • Fabrics, brass finishes and stone colours may vary slightly between production batches.
    • Product images are styled for illustration; props such as diyas, flowers and idols are not included unless listed.
    3

    Prices & payment

    • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
    • Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
    • We accept card, PayPal, Afterpay and other methods shown at checkout.
    • Payment is processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers — we never store your full card number.
    • Prices may change at any time, but changes won't affect orders already accepted.

Pricing errors. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price.

    4

    Orders & acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email is an acknowledgement, not acceptance — a contract forms only when we dispatch your item.

We may decline or cancel an order if:

    • The item is out of stock or a listing contains an error;
    • Payment is declined or flagged as fraudulent; or
    • The delivery address is outside the areas we service.

Custom orders — bespoke poshak and personalised pieces are made to your specification, cannot be cancelled once cutting begins, and add 5–7 business days.

    5

    Delivery & returns

These are covered in detail in their own policies, which form part of these terms:

Delivery estimates are indicative only. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes once we receive full payment.

    6

    Intellectual property

All content on this site — photographs, designs, embroidery patterns, text, logos and the House of Kanha name — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by Australian and international copyright law.

    • Share our photos on social media with credit and a link
    • Print pages for your own personal reference
    • Use our images or descriptions in your own listings
    • Copy our poshak designs for commercial manufacture
    • Use our name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement
    7

    Reviews & your content

When you post a review, photo or comment, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in our marketing, with credit where practical. You confirm the content is yours and doesn't infringe anyone's rights.

We may remove content that is offensive, misleading, off-topic or disrespectful of any faith or community.

    8

    Devotional items

Our products are made for seva and worship, and we ask that they be treated with the respect the tradition deserves.

    • Items are sold as devotional articles and decorative dress, not as toys or costumes.
    • We make no religious, spiritual, healing or good-fortune claims about any product.
    • Brass, wooden and stone items are not food safe and are not suitable for children under 3 — small parts.
    • Keep fabric items well away from diya flames and incense.
    9

    Liability & guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you're entitled to a replacement or refund, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. For a failure that isn't major, you're entitled to have it repaired or replaced within a reasonable time.

To the extent permitted by law, and apart from those guarantees, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delays outside our control.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

    10

    General

    Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

    Third-party links

We link to other sites for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or policies.

    Events outside our control

We aren't liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — natural disasters, strikes, carrier failures, power or internet outages, or government action.

    If a clause is invalid

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues to apply.

    Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time by publishing a new version here, with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will be notified on the site.

    Questions

    Need something clarified?

If any clause is unclear, just ask — we'd rather explain it now than have you guess. We reply within two business days.
